Kindergarten registration for Regional School District 12 will be open to families in January and continue for the entire month. Per new State legislation, children turning five years of age before September 1, 2024 are eligible and are encouraged to be registered beginning January 2nd through January 31st.

Families will need to provide an official birth certificate and proof of residency as part of the registration process. Officials will contact families to complete registration requirements. A kindergarten orientation and visitation day will be scheduled in the spring.

With the change in eligibility, our goal is to provide a venue during this transitional year and provide an opportunity for students. FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2024-25 ONLY, district staff will be using a Kindergarten screener (assessment) tool to determine developmental readiness (if a child does not meet the current birth date eligibility). As reported to the Board of Education at the 12-12-23 meeting, district administrators will be creating a Kindergarten readiness program in the summer of 2024 to further support students who do not meet the September 1 eligibility date and might benefit from academic and/or social-emotional support prior to entering Kindergarten.

Students residing in Bridgewater, Roxbury or Washington may register into the Region 12 school district through the Enrollment Portal. Please fill out the pre-registration form and submit. After submission, you will receive an email with further instructions.

To complete the registration process, additional documents need to be provided to the school where your child is being enrolled, including their birth certificate, proof of residency and medical information. These documents should be scanned and uploaded to specific online enrollment forms. The birth certificate with a raised seal must be presented to the school secretary by appointment.

Please note that if your circumstances change after you complete forms and decide not to send your child to Region 12, your application will be deleted.

Tuition In

Students not residing in Bridgewater, Roxbury or Washington, are welcome to apply to be a Region 12 student. Acceptance is not guaranteed. Applications will be reviewed and accepted conditional on resources available and enrollment. Requests for tuition-in for the 2024-2025 school year will open on February 1, 2024 and close July 20, 2024 (subject to change). Please fill out the pre-registration form through the Enrollment Portal and submit. After submission, you will receive an email with further instructions. Documentation must be provided to the school where your child is being enrolled, including their birth certificate, proof of residency and medical information. Please note that if your circumstances change after you complete forms and decide not to send your child to Region 12 or your application is denied, your application will be deleted. We hope you will consider applying again for the 2024-2025 school year.
